4. YouTube video playback
The “About me” page contains a video hosted on YouTube.
When the page is opened, a thumbnail stored on CuReTeK’s servers is displayed. At that point, no connection is made to YouTube and its player is not loaded.
The YouTube service is activated only when the user voluntarily clicks the “Accept YouTube cookies and play” button. By doing so, the user consents to the loading of the player and the external resources required for it to function.
During the technical checks performed, the following local storage keys were observed, among others:

The elements used by YouTube may vary depending on the browser, the user’s settings, whether the user is signed in to Google, or changes made by the provider.
CuReTeK does not access these values or use them for analytics, advertising or visitor tracking.
5. Consent and absence of a general notice
The technologies automatically used by CuReTeK are necessary for the website’s operation, security or management of language preferences.
YouTube content is not loaded automatically. It is activated only when the user decides to play the video through a specific and informed action.
For this reason, as long as no non-essential technologies that are installed when accessing the website are introduced, no general cookie acceptance notice is displayed.
If CuReTeK were to introduce analytics or advertising tools, or other technologies requiring prior consent, this policy would be updated and the corresponding consent mechanism would be enabled.
6. Management and deletion
Users can block or delete cookies and stored data through their browser’s privacy settings.
Blocking certain technical technologies may affect the operation of the website, prevent the contact form from being submitted or prevent the video from playing.
To stop loaded YouTube content, users can leave or reload the page. Any data stored by YouTube can be deleted through the browser’s cookie and site data settings.
